{"id":1700,"date":"2022-11-01T18:12:10","date_gmt":"2022-11-01T18:12:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amachains.com\/?p=1700"},"modified":"2022-11-01T18:12:10","modified_gmt":"2022-11-01T18:12:10","slug":"o-que-e-o-aquecimento-global","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amachains.com\/en\/o-que-e-o-aquecimento-global\/","title":{"rendered":"What is global warming?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Global warming is caused by increased greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions into the atmosphere from human activities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the Industrial Revolution, we have been generating larger quantities of greenhouse gases (GHG) such as CO2 (carbon dioxide), CH4 (methane) and N2O (nitrous oxide) by using coal and oil as energy sources.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These three gases and others are naturally found in the atmosphere and, together with water, prevent the loss of solar energy absorbed by the planet during the day, thus regulating the Earth&#039;s temperature.
